Amit Kumar is a seasoned 40 under 40 business leader and versatile individual with education from top Indian universities (IIT Bombay and ISB Hyderabad). He has climbed up the ladder in the last 15 years from being a management trainee to a Global CXO and a startup CEO.
Amit has worked across geographies in diverse industries (Classifieds, e-Commerce, FMCG and Telecom). He understands the value chain of consumer products (e.g. Auto, Fashion, Electronics) & consumer segments from Premium to the Bottom of the pyramid.

He is also a consumer internet champion and a community volunteer in Asia and African developing countries. He has created digital platforms and businesses which have empowered SMEs across Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe to grow their businesses and create employment and prosperity. Currently, he is the CEO of OLX Autos India. He has built this digital used automotive business in the last 2.5 years to almost a USD 100mn turnover business spread across India. This business has helped more than 15000 used car dealers in the country grow their business and create employment.

Amit is one of the select candidates chosen by the esteemed Stanford University’s Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED) as a consultant to help entrepreneurs and business owners in Africa and Asia to grow their businesses.
