A hardcore Global Sustainability Advocate, possibly the only person specialized in wind energy, water and environmental sustainability domains in India, Dr. PKC Bose has many 1st time hat-tricks in his credits. He has successfully commissioned three most reputed German Corporations, in India, over a period of close to 3 decades of his professional life.

Dr. Bose is like a ‘Brand Ambassador’ for German Mittelstand (SME) Companies in India, as he has been instrumental for settling down few German Mittelstand (SME) Companies in the country, besides being the Founder Managing Director of SEW EURODRIVE INDIA, SAERTEX INDIA and ENERCON WINDENERGY (all are wholly-owned subsidiaries of German Companies).

He was the Managing Director for India & Area Countries for SEW EURODRIVE, as he was the catalyst for ‘ENERGY CONSERVATION’ for various first-time applications in India. Then he moved to SAERTEX INDIA as Vice Chairman & Managing Director, and he introduced for the 1st time, the advanced composite materials in glass, carbon and aramid for replacement of steel and metal for many applications. Since last four years, he is the driving force of ENERCON WINDENERGY (the wholly owned subsidiary of ENERCON Group, Germany- the largest privately owned wind turbine makers in the world) as its Vice Chairman & Managing Director for India, started the green field project and
making India as global export hub for the group. Dr. Bose has been campaigning for ‘Sustainability’, be it energy conservation, carbon emission reduction/energyefficiency and now, for green energy as the most sustainable source. He is largely known as the ‘SUSTAINABILITY EVANGELIST’ in India.

Dr. Bose is a certified Climate Reality Leadership Corps, trained by the former Vice- President of the USA, Mr. Al Gore, and was interviewed by Radio Australia on food sustainability.

Dr. Bose is an Alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (India), Indian School of Business, Wharton Business School and Kellogg School of Management, USA and holds his Ph.D. from Washington University, USA. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the corporate world as a successful Business Leader.

Dr. Bose has been featured two times consecutively in the Forbes Magazine, in year 2011 and 2012. As the first Indian, who got inducted as Senator into the Senate of Economy, Germany, Dr. Bose has been invited to participate as a VIP Guest for the Nobel Peace Prize Forum in 2018 at Oslo, Norway. Norwegian Parliament has invited Dr. Bose for discussing renewable energy policy in 2018.

Dr. Bose was appointed as the FOUNDER GOVERNING MEMBER of ET Global Sustainable Energy Business Council (ETGSEBC) India, established by India’s media conglomerate Bennet & Coleman Group (Times Group). Dr. Bose is inducted as a member of the think tank National Renewable Energy Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

He has published more than 50 high-end technical articles on wind energy, sustainability, global warming, climate change, environment, energy and water, advanced composites, applications of advanced composites, replacement of steel and metal with composites, sustainability, power transmission and energy saving, and more than 25 articles about management. Dr. Bose is a regular speaker in various platforms in India and abroad on lightweight mobility solutions, composite world and advancement of composites, etc. He has been a frequent writer in many of the reputed Indian magazines and journals.
