Jonathan is CEO, Listed Funds at CapitaLand Investment. He oversees CapitaLand Investment’s listed fund platform and has geographical responsibilities over the South- East Asia and India businesses.

CapitaLand has listed Singapore’s first property trusts in retail, industrial, office and hospitality sectors, as well as trusts focusing on China and India. Its six listed trusts have total assets under management (AUM) of S$55.3 billion as of 30 June 2021. India, a growing market for CapitaLand, is targeted to represent S$7 billion of AUM for the Group by 2024.

Prior to joining CapitaLand in July 2019, Jonathan was the Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer of Ascendas-Singbridge (ASB) Group. Being with ASB since its inception in 2015, he was concurrently the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Real Estate Funds for the first two years of the company. Before that, Jonathan was with Ascendas Group – serving as CEO, India Operations, 2004 to 2007; CEO, India Funds, 2007 to 2014; CEO, India from 2010 to 2015; and Assistant Group CEO (Funds and India) from 2012 to 2015.

In his real estate career spanning since 1992, Jonathan also held positions with Lendlease Group, Tan Chong Group and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management (Honours) and a Master of Science in Project Management, National University of Singapore.
