Piyush Singh is Senior Managing Director and Lead for Accenture’s India Business – in addition to being responsible for the company’s growth and strategic relationships in Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East and Latin America.
Piyush joined Accenture in 2007 and has worked across the European and Asian Markets in the areas of business strategy, transformation, cost reduction, business re-alignment, and outsourcing of IT and operations functions. He has been working with organisations in the Banking, Insurance, and Energy sectors across Asia Pacific and Latin America driving change and transformation in the areas of digital technology as well as structural simplification and cost reduction.
Previously, Piyush was Senior Managing Director of Financial Services for Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific, responsible for setting Accenture’s overall vision and strategy as well as guiding the development of client relationships in the region. Before that, he also led Accenture’s Financial Services business in India.
Prior to joining Accenture, Piyush was part of the leadership team at that Lloyds Banking Group. Having worked across several other Financial Services organisations including Barclays, American Express and RBS, Piyush brings extensive experience of working with Boards and shaping business strategy, change management and IT programmes. Piyush also held a few other senior roles including Head of Strategic Alliances for the life, pensions and investments firm Scottish Widows, and member of the management board at the UK-based IT services firm Xansa.
Piyush has a degree in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from ENPC School of International Management in Paris. He is based in New Delhi.
