Punit Sood is the Head of International Hubs, NatWest Group. He oversees the India and Poland hubs and is responsible for strategy and execution of these and new hubs. In his role as the Head of India, he is responsible for building and transforming the organisation’s strategic capabilities to provide innovative solutions for our 19 million banking customers globally.

Punit is the chair for the India Diversity & Inclusion Council. He is also the Chairperson of the Board of the NatWest India Foundation, which is committed to building climate resilience for our communities and natural ecosystems in India. Punit is the Chair for the NASSCOM GCC Council and is a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council.

With an accomplished career spanning more than three decades, Punit has held several senior executive positions in Fortune 100 companies. He is globally recognised for his transformation and enterprise leadership in the global financial services industry. He has led organisations to succeed in complex global environments by driving transformational change and programs, building capability, and nurturing talent. Prior to joining the NatWest Group, Punit was the CIO of JPMorgan. He has held key positions at Citibank, Mphasis, and GE Capital Services. As a veteran of the financial services industry, Punit is also a mentor and a certified executive coach.
Punit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from IIT, Roorkee, and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.
