Shantanu Naidu
Founder, GoodfellowShantanu Naidu started as a design engineer till he founded his first startup Motopaws for animal welfare which was funded by Mr. Ratan N. Tata starting their relationship.
Shortly after, Shantanu finished his MBA at Cornell university, New York focused on Entrepreneurship, and returned after graduation to join Mr. Tata’s office as General Manager and executive assistant.
He now assists as Mr. Tata in his startup investments and philanthropic activities as General Manager in his office. His personal ventures include an entrepreneurial teaching course called “On Your Sparks” and a soft skills training course called “Nobody told me” for fresh graduates. He is also the author of the bestselling millennial memoir “I came upon a lighthouse” capturing his journey thus far.
His latest venture as founder and CEO is “Goodfellows”. Owing to his own personal intergenerational friendships with seniors and with Mr. Tata, he was prompted to bring intergenerational friendships to others too.
Goodfellows, India’s first companionship startup for seniors which pairs them with young, empathetic graduates, will be launching formally with the announcement of Mr. Ratan Tata’s investment on this Parsi New Year
