Shweta Jain is the Chief Business Officer leading the luxury, reserve, and craft portfolio at Diageo India. In her current role, she is redefining the marketing norms for the esteemed White Spirit, Craft Whisky, Scotch and Single Malt brands to make them luxury icons. Shweta is a part of Diageo India’s leadership team that is focusing on transformation of corporate citizenship. Her contribution is steering the organization to be the most trusted and respected consumer goods company.
As an Innovation Evangelist and Marketing Leader, Shweta has over 15 years of rich experience in extensive premiumisation strategy, cross cultural team management along with new product development expertise on various consumer product genres. Shweta firmly believes that ‘The stories you craft become the stories that the consumers celebrate with’ and has a great understanding on consumer dynamics. She also spearheads the omnichannel RTM experiences for brands like Johnnie Walker Blue & Gold in the scotch category, Epitome Reserve & Godawan in the craft whisky category, Singleton, Talisker and Copper Dog in the malts category as well as Tanqueray, Gordons, and Baileys in the Gin and liqueur category.
Prior to joining Diageo, Shweta was the Business Head at the international firm Ogilvy, where she successfully built cross functioning teams to scale greater heights for esteemed clientele such as Coca Cola, Gillette-P&G, HT Media – Mint, Seagram (now Pernod Ricard) – Scotches & CSR.
On the personal front, Shweta is an inquisitive person by nature who travels and takes constant walks to discover and stay curious.
On the educational front, Shweta holds an MBA to her merit.
