Sudish Panicker is Managing Director and Head of BNY Mellon India, a strategic growth center across Pune and Chennai, delivering a wide range of services for the company’s investment management and investment servicing businesses to global clients across 35 countries and over 100 markets. He is based in Pune. BNY Mellon India comprises of Asset Servicing, Finance, Human Resources, Investment Management, Issuer and Loan Services, Operations and Risk & Compliance groups supporting functions globally
Sudish is responsible for driving and implementing BNY Mellon’s Global strategy at the firm’s India Global Delivery Center focusing on enhancing Client Experience, driving Innovation, delivering Operational excellence, managing Risk and scaling Talent. Sudish is a Board member at BNY Mellon India and is on Global Diversity and Inclusion advisory group
Career Bio & History
Prior to assuming the role of Head, BNY Mellon India, Sudish led delivery and location strategy for groups within Asset Servicing and Investment management. He joined the company’s India center in July 2009 at Pune and played a key role in scaling and maturing capability to deliver end to end functions to clients and businesses.
Pre BNY Mellon, Sudish held senior roles in Client service delivery, operational excellence, Transformation within Finance and Accounting for GE Capital Services / GENPACT for supporting GE industrial businesses and other global healthcare clients. He has led global transformation assignments within banking-financial services, manufacturing and retail segments. Sudish began his career with ICICI Bank, largest Private sector bank in India and held roles within Retail, Products, Branch banking, Sales, Private Banking, Business development and Operations.
Education & Affiliations
Sudish is a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant and a certified Six Sigma black belt with key competencies in Accounting, Global Capability center management, financial services management, commercial banking, client management, service delivery, transitions & solutioning, program management and reengineering.
Sudish serves as Chair of NASSCOM Global Capability Center(GCC) at Pune and on National Council of NASSCOM GCC. He is on India Advisory Board for Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). He is member of Economic Times India Leadership Council, Institute of Directors (IOD), IMA India and Confederation of Indian Industry(CII)
